As you’ve probably noticed, it’s been fairly quiet around here lately at G33Kmade… but that doesn’t mean it’s been quiet behind the scenes! WOW do we have a lot to share with you!

G33Kmade is super excited to provide more details about our upcoming appearance at Gen Con in Indianapolis from August 5 – 8, 2010. You will be able to find all four of us (Kylee, Lesley, Rory, and Lucas) along with all kinds of geeky handmade goods at booth #2732! Among Kylee and Lesley’s fabulous handmade soap will be appearances by other awesome G33Kmade featured artists as well. Been eyeing one of Victoria the Germ’s geeky pillows, or wishing you could see one of Lyndsay’s Dragon Chow dice bags in person? Want to spruce up your life with fantastic art prints by GEEKLEETIST? Gen Con is your chance! Handmade geeky awesome you can find available for purchase at our booth includes:

In addition, we’ll also be officially representing  AWESOME stuff from Cthulhu Chick, GeekyCookies, and Geeky Boutiquey, so you can get your hands on some of their goodies for yourself, too! If it’s handmade and geeky, we’re spreading the love and sharing it with you at the G33Kmade booth.  Because that’s what handmade (and G33Kmade) is all about.

I hope you’re excited, because we’re ecstatic! So as you can imagine, we’ve been *very* busy preparing for the show with our featured artists AND getting details squared away for the G33Kmade Gen Con Tweet Up we’ve been planning for the past two months. Here’s what we have so far, please note that these plans may change *slightly* as we get closer to the date so be sure to check back in for final details the week of Gen Con!

G33Kmade Tweet Up Details
When: Saturday, August 7, 2010
Where: Jillian’s – 141 S. Meridian St. in downtown Indianapolis [Jillian's website]
Time: 8pm (come by after The Guild panel!)
RSVP: Please fill in the simple RSVP form below so we know what kind of numbers to expect!

All ages welcome at 8pm at no entry cost, but please note that Jillian’s turns into a 21 and older location after 10pm and may begin charging cover after that time. Jillian’s has free wi-fi! In addition, Jillian’s features three floors of bars, arcades, games, bowling, and dancing along with having food available… all for purchase if you desire. At Jillian’s you can eat, drink, play, and take part in the casual G33Kmade Tweet-Up to meet & greet lots of awesome, geeky people from Gen Con and Twitter. Meet up with us and then hang out and have a good time with lots of things to do at your fingertips in a fun environment. Sit around and chit chat to get to know your fellow geeks better, or head over and play some skee ball with the new friends you make!

It doesn’t cost to get into Jillian’s nor to attend the G33Kmade Tweet Up, but if you wish to purchase food, game tokens to play in the arcade, or bowling rental & games, you can find pricing on Jillian’s website. If you plan to eat while you’re there, Jillian’s has great food + game token packages available to you.
