When it comes to being an individual, Dave ‘Geekleetist’ Styer comes second to none.

I find it interesting when you just let people talk about themselves. What would YOU say about yourself? How would you present your years of existence? Would you coyly define your existence with an over usage of verbiage? Or would you simply state the facts? G33Kmade is swiftly developing into a community of sorts. A place where individuals and weirdos can collaborate. Where we can just be what we are and hopefully cross paths with others who beat the same drum…

What pleases me the most about our GEEKLEETIST is how honest he is. That is what defines G33Kmade, in its own right. That is also why we feel it is imperative to showcase this artist. The root of what makes us crafters/artists/writers is our desire to just create. Not produce. We create what makes us happy and then spread the love for the benefit of others…

Hands down, Dave spreads that love.

On 9/15/09 Patrick Swayze died. It was a sad sad day.  I mean Red Dawn was one of the best movies a young boy growin up in Northern Nowhere Utah could ever see!  F•ckin Commies!!  Anywho…I made this image to remember his amayze ass!   Sh•t went bonkers…I received pictures from people in Norway n sh•t with that as their desktop…
The following day I decided to start blogging, I’d joined Twitter a few months prior…but not with any splashes er nothin.

Oh…this is prolly sposed to be about my art or design history…right?  Ahhh…that sh•ts boring!  Some school, lots of f•ckin round and now a job designing the occasional tee for resort destinations.

PS.  Without Mike Groves, Keith Rein, Chris Parry and the best, Carolyn Rittweger, I would have never put my sh•t out there for folks to see or buy…AMAZING artists and the best friends a hairy ass dude could have.
